This post features student writing.

Hola from Granada, also known as the City of Pomegranates. Today we headed to the small city of Fuente Vaqueros to visit the Casa Museo of Federico Garcia Lorca. We enjoyed reading some of his poems and visiting his house where he was born. Later that day, we had fun writing our own Lorca-esque poems!

In the evening, we attended a typical Spanish cooking lesson. We made paella with chicken and vegetables!

We had a little free time and then headed to the Alhambra to view a flamenco and poetry show. By the end of the show, we were all clapping like our hands were on fire!

Tomorrow we’re off to Capileira! See you in less than a week!
