!Hola!

Our trip is off to a great a start in Llanes! We are adjusting to the time difference as we explore the city and its beautiful surroundings. Yesterday after lunch, we went for a beautiful walk with views of the town and the sea. Today we visited Pancar, a small village near Llanes that was celebrating El Día de San Pedro. There was a religious procession with traditional music and garb. Afterwards, we enjoyed a lunch of fabada asturiana, the traditional dish of Asturias, thanks to our gracious hosts in the hotel. We wrapped up the day with a lively language activity and some free time on the beach. We are all excited to go surfing tomorrow!
